Multiple Sclerosis

Trials have shown that Multiple Sclerosis (MS) patients who use medical marijuana report a reduction in muscle stiffness, spasms and pain, and improved mobility and sleep quality. 40 It may also play a role as a neuroprotectant by protecting the brain from the damage caused by MS. 41 A study completed in 2012 noted a significant rate of relief from muscle stiffness in MS patients after 12 weeks of using cannabis extract. 42
