Patients suffering from conditions that affect the body’s joints, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and gout, may find relief with medical marijuana. While further research is needed, existing studies suggest medical marijuana may help improve the quality of life of patients living with arthritis by decreasing chronic pain and improving sleep. 7
